The news on Friday evening that championship leader Alex Palou has informed Arrow McLaren that he will not race for them in 2024 despite a valid contract for him to race with the team is sure to set off the dominos for the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver market.

Paddock Eye has learned that Palou intends to remain with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2024 and beyond, with a new contract set to be signed in the coming weeks.

David Malukas is set to leave Dale Coyne Racing at the end of the season, but it is not yet known where he will be racing next season as he has confirmed that he does not have a contract for next season.

Marcus Ericsson is reportedly in talks with several teams regarding next season, and one such team is Andretti Autosport, with reports that the Swede could join Andretti to drive the No.28 DHL Honda; however, it is also possible that DHL could join Ericsson at Ganassi.

Meyer Shank Racing announced on Friday that Tom Blomqvist with drive full-time in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with Helio Castroneves becoming a minority owner in the team and competing in just the Indianapolis 500 next year.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing are expected to retain their drivers next season, with Graham Rahal, Jack Harvey and Christian Lundgaard set to stay with the team next season.
