Defending NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Alex Palou, driver of the No.10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda is set to travel to London this week for mediation talks with McLaren Racing.

The AP reports that the Spaniard, who finished the Daytona 24 Hours in eighth place with Meyer Shank Racing will hold talks with McLaren Racing in London on Tuesday.

Paddock Eye understands that the talks are meant for Palou’s legal team and McLaren to come to an agreement where Palou will pay less than the reported $30 million in compensation that McLaren are seeking after the Spaniard reneged on an agreement to join Arrow McLaren.

McLaren Racing are seeking millions in damages from what they say was a loss of revenue through sponsorship and money that they invested in Palou’s progession at McLaren.
