Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon, driver of the No.9 PNC Bank Women In Motorsports Honda says that it will be tough to catch his teammate and championship leader Alex Palou.

Speaking following the Honda Indy 200 where he finished the race in second behind Palou, Dixon said that it has been a blah season for him and he feels that had he not had a fuel probe problem during the race he could have challenged Palou for the win.

Palou heads to the Honda Indy Toronto in two weeks’ time with a 110-point lead in the championship over his teammate Scott Dixon. The Iceman heads to Toronto as the defending race winner and Palou believes that the team has a great car for the race north of the border.

Palou said that the win today doesn’t change anything in relation to who he is as a driver and that his win streak has no bearing on where he will be next season but he is looking forward to the rest of the season and next year.
