Danica Patrick, who competed in her last ever NASCAR race over the weekend in the Daytona 500 has confirmed that she completed a deal to race in the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil in May but told IndyCar.com that an announcement on who she will drive with is not imminent.

Patrick who remains the only female driver to have won a Verizon IndyCar Series race when she took victory at Twin Ring Motegi in 2008 will sign off on her successful motorsport career in May when she competes the ‘Danica Double’ at the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

Patrick who raced for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Andretti Autosport during her Verizon IndyCar Series career confirmed that the announcement and unveiling of her IndyCar will be more substantial for the Indianapolis 500 unveil.
