The Verizon IndyCar Series may be on a off weekend however that hasn’t stopped the teams and drivers preparing as several were on track at Texas Motorsport Speedway.
Ed Carpenter was on track art Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday while on Wednesday Danica Patrick who will return to the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil in May to compete for the final time before retiring was at the Ed Carpenter Racing shop to have her seat fitting.
Patrick, who will compete in the No.13 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet alongside Team owner Ed Carpenter and Spencer Pigot will test the new Chevrolet aero-kit to get back up to speed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on March 29th.
Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Patrick said:
Ready set go! Man……IndyCar seats are so comfy. Like a lazy boy. That goes 240mph.
