Legendary NTT IndyCar Series driver Danica Patrick will join Sky Sports F1HD for this weekend’s United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas as Formula One makes its return to the U.S for the first time since 2019.
Patrick, who became the first female driver to win a major open-wheel race when she won a Twin Ring Motegi with Andretti Autosport in 2008 will join Sky Sports F1HD regulars, 2009 World champion Jenson Button along with co-commentator Martin Brundle.
Speaking about the news, Patrick said that she is really excited and loves the fact that Lewis Hamilton is attempting to win his eighth championship and become the most successful F1 driver at COTA having won here five times.
Patrick is a welcome addition to the Sky Sports F1HD line up for this weekend as she has plenty of experience in the role of expert pundit having been part of NBC’s coverage alongside Mike Toricio.
