Stewart Haas Racing team’s Danica Patrick has been released from the in-field care center at the Daytona International Raceway following a multi-car collision during Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500 race.
Patrick driving the No.10 Aspen Dental Ford Fusion was one of several drivers involved in the accident.
As a result of the accident Patrick will be classified in 33rd place for the race. The SHR driver was one of many involved in the incident with a number of other cars involved in the incident.
Patrick, who started the race from the 12th place on the grid will be back in action in the No.10 Aspen Dental Ford Fusion for the next race in Atlanta.
