Team Penske announced the engineering and strategist partnership for this weekend’s 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. On Wednesday, it was announced that Tim Cindric, Kyle Moyer, and Ron Ruzuwski have all left the team following the qualifying controversy that embroiled them this week.
Luke Mason will once again call strategy for Josef Newgarden in the No.2 Shell V Power Nitro+ Chevrolet just like in 2024. Raul Prados will serve as Newgarden’s Lead engineer.
On the No.3 Pennzoil stand, Ben Bretzman will serve as Scott McLaughlin’s race strategist while Malcolm Finch will be the New Zealander’s lead engineer.
Finally, on the No.12 stand, Jonathan Diuguid will serve as race strategist for Will Power while David Faustino will serve as lead engineer.
