Penske Entertainment Corporation, the parent company to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have taken over the running of the Nashville INDYCAR race.
Penske has taken over the promotion of the event from Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine company.
While there has been no official announcement from INDYCAR or the Nashville race it is understood that Borchetta and Big Macine will remain involved in the project as a sponsor.
In 2024, the Nashville INDYCAR race was moved from Downtown Nashville to Nashville Super Speedway in Lebanon due to the construction of the new Tennessee Titans NFL stadium.
The expected announcement means that more of the INDYCAR SERIES races have been brought in house.
Penske Entertainment operate the Indianapolis 500, the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, the Detroit Grand Prix, the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach and the Arlington Grand Prix that will make it’s debut in 2026.
