Team Penske president Tim Cindric says that the outfit are looking into the possibility of entering Scott McLaughlin in other races in the NTT IndyCar Series during the 2020 season.

The defending Australian V8 Supercars champion will compete in the GMR Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on May 9.

McLaughlin was extremely impressive for the team during the two day Spring Training event at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas last month and Cindric said that although it is too early in the season to say whether or not McLaughlin will be full time in the NTT IndyCar Series in 2021 the team want him to experience more than one race.

The 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season get underway in less than two weeks time with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg where Team Penske will field three cars with defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Josef Newgarden, Will Power and defending Indianapolis 500 winner Simon Pagenaud.
