Team Penske owner Roger Penske says that for now he has no plans to enter 2018 Indianapolis 500 winner Will Power in the legendary Bathurst 1000 race and instead is focused on his other racing commitments in NTT IndyCar Series, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and Australian Supercar Championship.

Penske who is in Australia for the 2019 edition of the Bathurst 1000 has confirmed however he did speak to Andretti Walkinshaw United Autosport’s co owner Michael Andretti about running Will Power as a wildcard in the famous the race.

Andretti decided to enter his NTT IndyCar Series driver Alexander Rossi and his former driver and Arrow McLaren Racing SP’s James Hinchcliffe in the race.
