Roger Penske, the owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar says that he would love to see Formula One return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the future.

Speaking during this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speedway where he was honored and conducted runs in some of his most famous cars, the Team Penske owner said that Formula One would be welcome at the Speedway and that the circuit is FIA certified which would enable them to have an F1 race there with no problems.

Penske said that Formula One had their tire issues with the Michelin failures which resulted in just Ferrari, Minardi, and Jordan competing in the race.

Penske believes that the Formula One race in Miami will be great and he said that they will see what the future holds in relation to the potential of Formula One returning to the Brickyard.
