Force India driver Sergio Checo’ Perez and his manager Julien Jakobi were the ones who petitioned the High Court in London over the Silverstone based outfit’s administration Paddock Eye learned this morning.

Force India entered administration on Friday amid serious financial issues within in the outfit. It has emerged that Perez along with sponsor BWT and Mercedes are owed payments. Force India have refused to comment on what is going on with the team.

FRP Advisory LLP have been appointed as administrators for the Silverstone based outfit with Geoff Rowley and James Baker telling the staff at the team that they will do everything in their power to get the best possible deal for the team. FRP Advisory LLP have taken over the search for a buyer from Vijay Mallya.

The news that the team have entered administration has come at a good time for the outfit with the Formula One summer shutdown beginning on Monday.
