Petro-Canada Lubricants who are a partner of Canadian IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe and his Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team have expanded their involvement with the sport.
The Honda Indy Toronto announced on Thursday that they have entered into partnership with Petro-Canada Lubricants.
Speaking about the new relationship, Honda Indy Toronto president Jeff Atkinson commented by saying:
We’re excited to add Petro-Canada Lubricants to our growing list of partners for this year’s event. This sponsorship further strengthens its involvement in Canadian motorsports. “Toronto is the lone international stop on the U.S.-based IndyCar series, so it is outstanding to have this local company supporting with a significant presence at the Honda Indy Toronto.
President of Petro-Canada Lubricants, Mark A Plake commented by saying:

Petro-Canada Lubricants became involved in the Verizon IndyCar Series at the start of the 2016 season when they entered into a commercial partnership with James Hinchcliffe, the Mayor of HinchTown and his Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team.
The Honda Indy Toronto takes place from July 14-16.
