Ed Carpenter Racing’s Spencer Pigot looks set to compete in his second Indianapolis 500 later this month with news that he is in advanced talks with Juncos Racing to take one of their two seats for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
As Paddock Eye reported on Monday, Pigot looks set to be loaned out to Juncas Racing by Ed Carpenter Racing for the most famous motor race on the planet.
Speaking about his prospects over the Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix weekend, Pigot said that his prospects for a drive at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have improved over the last month.
It is believed that the Chevrolet powered Juncos Racing team will have two seats available for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presenter by PennGrade Motor Oil.
With the expectation of two Juncos Racing providing two cars for the 500 that brings the grid up to the magic 33 car.
