The Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a hive of activity on Thursday for the final day of the open test as teams and drivers prepares for the Month of May and the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
A total of 3,267 laps were completed on the 2.5 mile oval.
The action was delayed due to poor weather on Thursday morning however once the action got underway there was plenty of activity with drivers running close together with many teams focusing on qualifying set-up.
Speaking to NBC during the test, two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya said that he felt more comfortable getting back in the car and getting up to speed this year compared to last season.
The Colombian is once again competing for Arrow McLaren SP in the No.6 Mission Foods Chevrolet and he feels that the car is much better than last year.
