The NTT INDYCAR SERIES heads to the World Wide Technology Raceway this weekend for the season’s final race. There is plenty to look out for on Sunday. Alex Palou is looking to win his second championship in three years and can do so if he outscores his teammate Scott Dixon by seven points.

Josef Newgarden is on the brink of making NTT INDYCAR SERIES history on Sunday if he can take victory, as it would be the first time in series history that a driver has won all of the oval races in one season.

Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda will extend his consecutive race streak as he will make his 320th consecutive race start and will be looking to claim back-to-back victories this weekend, having won on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course last time out when he overtook Tony Kanaan to have the most consecutive starts with 319 races starts.

The other big piece of news this weekend is the fact that for the first time in its history, Firestone Racing is providing the teams with the red-walled Alternate tire, with each driver receiving two sets for the weekend.
