The Verizon IndyCar Series may be on a break from racing but that doesn’t mean that there is no on track action…far from it!

On Thursday of last week drivers tested at Pocono Raceway ahead of next weekend’s ABC Supply 500. On Monday, a number of teams and drivers were in action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time since May as Firestone conducted a tyre test in preparation for next year’s 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

On Thursday, eight of of the nine Verizon IndyCar Series teams will be in action at the newly resurfaced Watkins Glen International circuit in New York where they will conduct a one day test ahead of next month’s IndyCar Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.
