The opening day of qualifying for the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge has been suspended due to poor weather conditions in Speedway, Indiana.

As it stands Ed Carpenter Racing’s Rinus VeeKay leads the way with a four-lap average of 233.655MPH.
