Porsche Motorsports confirmed on Saturday that they will remain in the ABB FIA Formula E world championship in 2021 and beyond.
The news comes after both BMW and Audi will pull out of the ABB FIA Formula E world championship at the end of season eight.
Speaking about today’s announcement, Fritz Enzinger, Vice President Motorsport commented saying:
We’re very pleased that today we can make a clear statement about our continued participation in the ABB FIA Formula E. “We are completely won over by the outstanding stage and the unique concept. We use the fully-electric single-seater series for the systematic development work and expansion of our skills in the field of battery-electric drive. We want to move the championship forward together with the FIA/FEO and the teams in the years ahead.”
