Team Penske drivers Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet and Scott McLaughlin in the No.3 PPG Chevrolet say they are both excited about the NTT IndyCar Series going to the streets of Nashville for the first time in 2021.
It was announced last year that the NTT IndyCar Series will head to Nashville around the Tennessee Titans stadium and downtown Nashville on August 8.
Speaking to Paddock Eye during a media conference call on Tuesday, Will Power said that Nashville is an up and coming city and that it looks like an awesome track and he believes it going to be a really cool event. McLaughlin who makes his full time IndyCar Series debut this year says he is looking forward to going to Nashville particularly given the fact that the event is new for everyone.
McLaughlin said that it is beneficial for him to being starting from scratch like the rest of the field and he is hoping to learn the track as quickly as he can and he believes he is on an even position with the rest of the field.
