Verizon Team Penske’s Will Power says he can’t wait to get the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma weekend started and to get out on track for Friday’s opening practice session.

Power goes into the Verizon IndyCar Series championship decider at Sonoma Raceway this weekend in second place in the series standings, 43 points behind team mate and championship leader Simon Pagenaud and with double points on offer for the race anything is possible.

Power is who is in the running for his second Verizon IndyCar Series championship having won in 2014 said during a media event in San Francisco on Thursday that to win the championship would be phenomenal.

The Australian also feels that it is going to be a very interesting weekend.
