Power set a fastest time of 39.4388s set at a speed of 228.202mph on lap 11 of 94 ending up just behind the Andretti Autosport pairing of Ryan Hunter Reay and Carlos Munoz.
Verizon IndyCar Series points leader Simon Pagenaud in the No.22 Menards Team Penske Chevrolet ended day 3 in 12th place completing 101 laps with the Frenchman’s fastest time of the day a 39.8038s coming on lap 40 at a speed of 226.109mph.
Defending Indianapolis 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya in the No.2 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet ended the day in 13th place completing 90 laps with his fastest time a 39.8400s set at a speed of 225.904mph coming on lap 41.
Helio Castroneves in the No.3 Chevrolet ended his day in 18th place with a fastest time of 39.9603s coming on lap 68 of 86 at a speed of 225.224mph.
