Will Power, driver of the No.12 Verizon Business Team Penske Chevrolet has no plans to retire from the NTT INDYCAR SERIES anytime soon.

The Australian who became the first driver to win a third race this season goes into this weekend’s double-header Hy-Vee 250’s at the Milwaukee Mile in second place in the championship, 54 points behind championship leader Alex Palou.

Speaking during the post race press conference following his win at Portland International Raceway last weekend, Power said:

I want to continue. I’m not retiring. I’m not. I’m just simply not retiring. Yeah, I know people probably like to spread that around, rumors or whatever, in the hope that they can take my seat. Yeah, I’m staying here for a while. I’ll get better every year, man. I get better every year. I feel like that.
