Pole-sitter Will Power in the No.12 Verizon 5G Team Penske Chevrolet led warm-up for Sunday’s Hy-Vee race with a speed of 171.488MPH just ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Takuma Sato who set a fastest speed of 170.865MPH just ahead of Agustin Canapino who did a great job for Juncos Hollinger Racing.

Helio Castroneves and Conor Daly did a fantastic job ending the session in fourth and fifth place respectively and with Castroneves starting the race from eighth it is going to be a solid day for Meyer Shank Racing.

Marcus Ericsson who finished fourth here yesterday was sixth just ahead of Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda while Santino Ferrucci did a great job for AJ Foyt Racing ending the session in eighth place just ahead of Christian Lundgaard while Callum Ilott completed the top ten for Juncos Hollinger Racing.

Colton Herta in the No.26 Gainbridge Honda was 11th just ahead of Alex Palou and Ryan Hunter Reay. Scott McLaughlin was 14th just ahead of Jack Harvey and Felix Rosenqvist.

Romain Grosjean was 17th just ahead of David Malukas and Ed Carpenter while Rinus VeeKay rounded out the top twenty just ahead of Graham Rahal and Sting Ray Robb while Devlin DeFrancesco was 23rd just ahead of Josef Newgarden who is aiming for back to back victories later today.

Pato O’Ward was 25th just ahead of Benjamin Pedersen and Alexander Rossi who completed the order.
