The NTT IndyCar and PPG announced on Tuesday that new for 2020 aeroscreen will make its race debut this weekend at the:season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg in Florida.
The new device has been tested throughout the off season and was developed in partnership with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, PPG, Dallara and the NTT IndyCar Series.
Speaking about the aeroscreen, IndyCar president Jay Frye said:
“I don’t think any stone has been left unturned, but we will continue to fine tune it. “The Aeroscreen is an industry-changing, total driver safety solution.”
