PREMA Racing, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES newest team, will make its track debut at The Thermal Club next Tuesday as the team prepares to make its race debut at the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg presented by RP Funding next month.
Callum Ilott and Robert Swartzman will be on track for the test in California. The Chevrolet-powered team has hired former Juncos Hollinger Racing and Andretti Global INDYCAR SERIES driver Romain Grosjean to help move the team forward. Paddock Eye understands that Andretti Global will join PREMA at the test.
The team has spent time in North Carolina with the Chevrolet simulator to give Ilott and especially Shwartzman time behind the wheel of the Chevrolet-powered Dallara.
