Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Lewis Hamilton dominated Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa Francorchamps circuit.
The six time world champion took victory from pole and was flaelas he is now 47 points ahead of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen who finished third.
Valtteri Bottas was a distant second with Max Verstappen in third.
It was a great day for the Renault F1 Team’s as Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon came home in fourth and fifth place respectively just ahead of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Alex Albon, McLaren’s Lando Norris, Pierre Gasly and Racing Point’s Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez.
Daniil Kvyat was eleventh for Alpha Tauri while Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN’s Kimi Raikkonen was the leading Ferrari powered car coming home in 12th just ahead of his former team mate Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc.
The Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean was 15th just ahead of Williams Racing’s Nicholas Latifi and Kevin Magnussen.
Antonio Giovinazzi and George Russell were the only two retirements from the race as McLaren’s Carlos Sainz failed to start the race.
The F1 circus moves on to Italy next weekend for the Grand Prix in Monza, the first of a double-header.
