Graham Rahal in the No.24 Carekeeper Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports and Katherine Legge in the No.44 Hendrickson Honda completed their shakedown runs at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday ahead of Carb Day.

Each driver had 15 minutes to acclimatize. For Legge, it was the opportunity for her to get some pit-stop practice after missing around 55 minutes of practice on Monday due to the crash involving herself and Stefan Wilson. Graham Rahal had the opportunity to carry out practice pit stops for DRR with Cusick Motorsports after being drafted in to sub for Wilson following the accident.

Speaking to Paddock Eye on Thursday, Ryan Hunter-Reay, driver of the No.23 Root Insurance Chevrolet, said that while he is happy to be partnered with Graham Rahal for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing, the team misses Stefan Wilson.
