Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing are planning to build a brand new purpose built race shop in Indianapolis.

Graham Rahal who drives the No.15 United Rentals Honda for the team confirmed the news while giving fans a behind the scenes video tour of their Brownsburg shop.

Rahal revealed that RLL who also have a race shop in Colombus, Ohio rent the Brownsburg shop from his father in law John Force whose John Force Racing NHRA team are based across the road from Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

The team moved into their current shop in 2012 while Graham was Racing for another team.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing run a two car full time NTT IndyCar Series team out of their Brownsburg shop while their BMW Motorsport IMSA team are based out of Colombus however they also do NTT IndyCar Series prep there.

Rahal didn’t give a time frame as to when they will move into their new shop.

Paddock Eye understands that the team are working behind the scenes to add a third car full time in 2020 for the Mayor of HinchTown James Hinchcliffe.
