Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal in the No.15 United Rentals Honda had by far his strongest NTT IndyCar Series event on Saturday as the iRacing Challenge came to a chaotic conclusion at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the First Responder 175 presented by GMR.
Rahal started the 70 lap race from fourth place and had a great race leading the event and looked like he was going to give Honda their first win of NTT IndyCar Series iRacing Challenge however it was not be.
The Colombus native was involved in a final lap incident which saw him go airborne and end the race in 13th place. The 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season is due to get underway next month with the Genesys 600 at Texas Motor Speedway on June 6 which set to be behind closed doors.
Texas Motor Speedway has been a happy hunting ground for Rahal who took victory here in 2016. Rahal will be hoping he can start the new season with a repeat performance next month.
