Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen ended the final morning of the opening winter test at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya as the fastest driver.
This morning, Formula One tyre supply Pirelli conducted a wet weather test with Raikkonen setting a time of 01:22.305s. Romain Grosjean was second fastest for the Haas F1 Team, the Frenchman completed 49 laps while McLaren Honda’s Stoffel Vandoorne rounded out the top three.
Max Verstappen was fourth fastest for Red Bull just ahead of Force India’s Sergio Perez.
Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg ended the session with the sixth fastest time just ahead of the Sauber F1 Team’s Antonio Giovinazzi who completed 37 laps for the Swiss outfit.
Valtteri Bottas was eighth fastest for the Mercedes AMG PETROONAS F1 Team with Lewis Hamilton electing not to run the wet session.
Daniil Kvyat rounded out the order with the ninth fastest time. Williams opted not to run today. More on that story shortly.
