Formula One was back in action for the first time in 2016 as three teams Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren Honda ran day of the Pirelli wet tyre test at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.
Kimi Raikkonen was in action Scuderia Ferrari in the SF15-T. The Finn completed 99 laps overall. The Iceman will hand over the car to his team mate Sebastian Vettel who will complete the test on Tuesday.
Speaking following the day of action, Raikkonen commented by saying:
It was like a normal day of testing, I think it’s too early to say much about these prototype tyres, but it was a very useful session, because everyone was running under the same conditions. It’s been a while since we’ve driven and, even if it was just one day, there’s always something you can learn from it.
