Alfa Romeo Racing’s Kimi Raikkonen had a strong race in Austria on Sunday. The Iceman who celebrated his 300th F1 race this weekend finished the event at the Red Bull Ring in ninth place just ahead of his team mate.
The Iceman made his Formula One debut with the Sauber F1 Team in 2001 and has scored the majority of Alfa Romeo’s points this season with Antonio Giovinazzi scoring his first Formula One points today.
Raikkonen has now helped the Swiss based outfit to move into sixth place in Constructors championship.
Raikkonen is one of just a handful of drivers to have reached the milestone of 300 Grand Prix starts and his performance today showed that the Alfa Romeo Racing team have made a huge step forward from the start of the season particularly as both cars came home in the points.
