HMD Motorsports Christian Rasmussen took a dominant victory in the INDY NXT presented by Firestone Big Machine Music City Grand Prix on the streets of Nashville. Rasmussen took a light to flag victory leading all of the 35-lap race. Hunter Mclrea finished the race in second just ahead of Abel Motorsports Jacob Abel.
It was a great race for Ireland’s James Roe in the No.29 Topcon Andretti Autosport Dallara as he came home in fourth place just ahead of Nolan Siegel. Rookie Louis Foster came home in sixth place.
Rasmus Lindh came home in seventh place while Andretti Autosport’s Jamie Chadwick in the No.28 DHL Dallara was the biggest mover coming from 17th to finish the race in eighth place just ahead of Reece Gold and Josh Pierson who rounded out the top ten.
Yuven Sundaramoorthy was 11th just ahead of Christian Bogle and Matthew Brabham. Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Victor Franzoni ended the race in 14th place just ahead of Kyffin Simpson and Daniel Frost. Jagger Jones ended the race in 17th place just ahead of Ernie Francis Jr who was classified in 18th just ahead of Francesco Pizzi.
