23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick will roll off from pole for Sunday’s PPG Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Reddick set a fastest time of 49.469s.
Speaking following the action, Reddick said:
In Round 2. “I did not feel great about my Turn 1, but the rest of the lap was really, really stout.
“It’s just really cool. I’ve been really fortunate to come here and have a lot of speed on the road course. It’s great to be back on the oval here and have that speed again. I’m excited for (Sunday). We’re going to have an awesome opportunity with pit selection, and obviously, our Toyota Camry is really fast.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin will roll off second in the No.11 Toyota Camry XSE with a time of 49.589s.
Hendrick Motorsports Chase Elliott starts the race from third in the No.9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet.
Hendrick Motorsports William Byron was fourth just ahead of Kyle Larson in the No.5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Ty Gibbs starts the race from sixth just ahead of defending champion Ryan Blaney.
Michael McDowell starts the race from eighth just ahead of Ricky Stenhouse Jr who told Paddock Eye ahead of qualifying that it is difficult to pass at the Brickyard the car feels really good.
It was a great day for John Hunter Nemechek in the No.42 Legacy Motor Club Toyota Camry XSE as he roles off from 10th place.
