The 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil took place at the end of last month and after an incredible build up to the race during the month of May which saw James Hinchcliffe take the P1 Award for this historic event we were sure to be in for a treat.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is famous for its history. Being at the track is unreal and there is nothing else like being at the circuit in a crowd of 350,000 race fans all cheering on their favourite drivers.
When the command was given by four generations of the Hulman/George family I had tremendous goosebumps on my arms and the hair on my neck stood up, this is it!!

The 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil was underway and the build up to the race and the hype surrounding it lived up and surpassed any of my expectations and it was made all the better by the fact that a rookie in his first season racing in the Verizon IndyCar Series took victory.
