The Renault Formula One Team who return to track action as a works manufacturer in 2016 after purchasing a majority shareholding the Lotus F1 Team over the winter have cleared their final hurdle.

The yet to named Renault chassis has passed all of the FIA’s mandatory crash test and has been cleared to start winter testing in Barcelona next month.

The Enstone outfit are the latest team to have passed the tests after both the Manor racing team and the Haas F1 Team also passed their tests in recent days.
