The NTT IndyCar Series announced on Thursday that Road America will host two doubleheader races on July 11 and 12 while Richmond Raceway which was due to return to the calendar for 2020 has been removed.
The 2020 NTT IndyCar Series season was originally due to get underway on March 15 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg however due to the COVID 19 pandemic the start of the season was postponed until next Saturday June 6 with the Genesys 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Iowa Speedway have added a race to their schedule which are due to take place on July 17 and 18 respectively.
The 104th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge which was due to take place this weekend will instead take place on August 23.
