Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Sting Ray Robb, in the No.77 GoodHeart Chevrolet, says the team has a good race car. Speaking to Paddock Eye on race day morning at the Sonsio Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the IMS road course on Saturday, Robb, who starts the race from 17th, says the team should be in good shape for today’s race.

Robb ended the race day warm-up in 20th place, while Conor Daly, in the No.76 Chevrolet, ended the session in 22nd place. Daly feels the team has a good race car underneath them, but they got caught up in traffic during qualifying on Friday.

Speaking following qualifying on Friday, Robb said:

“It was a very busy day here at Indy road course. But overall, I think there’s a lot of positive to take from the day. Qualified P 17, and literally, 1/100 of a second moves us to P 13. So a little bit more to transfer into the fast 12, but I think that we still had that if we nailed a lap, but really, really good progress from the team. I mean, that’s my best qualifying ever, which is nothing to shout, shout about, but it makes me excited for the future together, and I think that tomorrow we’ll have good package.”
