Andretti Global’s James Roe says he is aiming for podiums and wins during the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season after a tricky start to the 2025 INDY NXT presented by Firestone championship.
Roe retired from the opening race of the season, but here in Barber Motorsports Park, the Kildare native will start the race from eighth place and says that the conditions were very tricky and the set-up was not great. The No.29 Topcon team will roll off from eighth place.
Roe also spoke to us about Alex Dunne, who is doing an excellent job in Formula 4 while Charlie Eastwood competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and he feels that Ireland is well represented on the world motorsports stage.
Roe is hopeful that the team can advance to Sunday’s INDY NXT presented by Firestone Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix.
