Andretti Global’s James Roe started Sunday’s INDY NXT by Firestone Children’s of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park in third place in the No.29 Topcon car. A great weekend for us, we rolled off well on Friday. It is always nice, I was a little bit conservative on P2P today and with 15 laps to go I used it but was a little late.

Roe said it was great to get points on the board and it’s on to Indy. Speaking to Paddock Eye following the race about the next event on the Indy road course where last season he scored a podium finish he said:

Track position is everything in this series. It doesn’t matter how quick you are. If you qualify up front, you right up front, it’s as simple as that. I know you said that there were a lot of moves today and that is really unique in this series.
