Andretti Global’s James Roe, driver of the No.29 Topcon Dallara will be hoping to put his experience to good use this weekend as the INDY NXT presented by Firestone championship heads to Iowa Speedway for their first oval event of the 2024 season.

It had been a rollercoaster season for the Irishman who goes into Iowa Speedway in ninth place in the championship, equal on points with fellow Irishman and INDY NXT presented by Firestone rookie Jonathan Browne.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Roe said:

I’m excited for the first oval of the year in Iowa, “especially since we had a good qualifying and race run last time we were out there. We qualified in the second row on the grid and got a top 10, so we’ll work to turn a good qualifying into a strong result this weekend.”
