James Roe, driver of the No.29 Topcon Andretti Global Dallara says that the team has a quick race car following a tenth place finish for the Irishman in Saturday’s Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway.

Roe is currently in eighth place in the championship with just three races remaining in the 2024 season.

There are just nine points separating eighth from fifth in the championship.

Speaking following the action, Roe said:

There’s a lot for the No. 29 Topcon team to be proud of today. “We worked our way forward on a track that’s tough to pass. On the restart, I went for it, but got into the marbles and fell back a bit – that’s just oval racing. I’d rather go for a move than sit back and be content running further back. So, we have a quick race car that we’ll take on to the next.”
