Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Nico Rosberg completely dominated the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday. The German who went into the race having taken pole position for the race made a great start and took his ninth win of the season and with Lewis Hamilton finishing the race in third place Mercedes have secured their third Constructors championship in a row.

Red Bull Racing Max Verstappen finished the race in second place and as a result has moved up to fifth place in the Drivers championship.

Sebastian Vettel finished the race in fourth place just ahead of team mate Kimi Raikkonen in fifth place. Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo was sixth just ahead of the Sahara Force India duo of Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg.

The Williams Martini Racing Team duo of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas rounded out the top ten.

Romain Grosjean ended the race in 11th place just outside the top ten for the Haas F1 Team. Jolyon Palmer was 12th for the Renault Sport F1 Team ending the race just ahead of Daniil Kvyat while Kevin Magnussen was 14th in the second Renault.

The Sauber F1 Team’s Marcus Ericsson was 15th just ahead of McLaren Honda’s Fernando Alonso and Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz.

Jenson Button who started the race from last place finished the event in 18th just ahead of Felipe Nasr’s Sauber. Esteban Gutierrez finished the race in 20th place following a spin early in the race.

Manor Racing’s Esteban Ocon and Pascal Werhlein rounded out the order in 21st and 22nd place respectively. The Formula One circus heads state side for the next race, the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in two weeks time.
