Felix Rosenqvist, the driver of the No.60 Sirius XM Meyer Shank Racing Honda, is looking forward to this weekend’s Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, saying that it is a highlight of the NTTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule.
Speaking ahead of the race this weekend, the Swede commented saying:
Laguna Seca is a highlight of the year. It’s arguable the best track we go to and after the current re-pave, it’s ultra fast. I’ve had some great memories from there and can’t wait to get back to it again after the break.”
Rosenqvist goes into the weekend in 10th place in the championship on 157 points. David Malukas will make his first race start of the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season and speaking ahead of the race, Malukas said:
After a long wait, I’m thrilled to finally start my 2024 season this weekend at Laguna Seca. I have received INDYCAR clearance and have been able to spend a lot of time on the simulator and testing with MSR, so I’m feeling ready to get back in the swing of things. While I’m expecting Laguna Seca to be a challenge, I’m eager to get back behind the wheel and focus on the rest of the season ahead
