Ed Carpenter Racing’s Rinus VeeKay in the No.21 BitNile Chevrolet returned from a tricky practice this morning to make it three Chevrolet-powered cars in the top three with a four-lap average of 233.801MPH.
Chip Ganassi Racing got two of their drivers into the fast six with Alex Palou in the No.10 The American Legion Honda was fourth fastest with a four-lap average of 233.779MPH.
Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda will go for his third Indianapolis 500 pole in a row with a four-lap average of 233.430MPH.
Arrow McLaren’s Pato O’Ward in the No.5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet rounded out the Fast Six with a four-lap average speed of 233.229MPH.
