Will Power was fourth fastest in the No.12 Verizon 5G Team Penske Chevrolet with a 01:00.8409s ending the session just ahead of Rinus VeeKay and Scott McLaughlin while in his first official outing with Juncos Hollinger Racing, Romain Grosjean finished the day in seventh place just ahead of Colton Herta and Alex Palou while Callum Ilott rounded out the top ten for Arrow McLaren.

Josef Newgarden in the No.12 PPG Team Penske Chevrolet was 11th just ahead of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.

Christian Lundgaard of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing was 13th just ahead of Alexander Rossi and Kyle Kirkwood while Agustin Canapino was 15th just ahead of Marcus Ericsson in the No.28 Delaware Insurance Honda for Andretti Global.

Linus Lundqvist was 18th just ahead of Christian Rasmussen and Santino Ferrucci while Jack Harvey was 21st just ahead of Graham Rahal and new INDYCAR SERIES driver Kyffin Simpson while Sting Ray Robb was 24th just ahead of Tom Blomqvist and Pietro Fittipaldi of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing while Colin Braun rounded out the order in 27th place for Dale Coyne with RWR.
