In his final race with the team before heading to Meyer Shank Racing in 2024, Felix Rosenqvist will start Sunday’s Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey from pole in his No.6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren Chevrolet.

The Swede set a fastest time of 01:06.6416s and is joined on the front row by Scott McLaughlin in the No.3 XPEL Team Penske Chevrolet.

It was a great qualifying for Christian Lundgaard who starts the final race of the year from third place just ahead of Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden in the No.2 Hitachi Chevrolet.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda and Alex Palou rounded out the Firestone Fast Six. For Dixon he has an extra set of the Firestone Alternate tire going into the race on Sunday.

Juri Vips will start from 13th due to a grid penalty having qualified in seventh place just ahead of Rinus VeeKay and Will Power.

Romain Grosjean starts the race from 9th having qualified tenth while Santino Ferrucci who was 11th will start the race from 17th place.

Pato O’Ward will start 11th just ahead of Graham Rahal who has been promoted to 12th. Juri Vips starts the race from 13th.

Graham Rahal starts 14th just ahead of Colton Herta and Marcus Armstrong.

Alexander Rossi and Kyle Kirkwood are up next.

Marcus Ericsson starts his final INDYCAR race with Chip Ganassi Racing from 19th place just ahead of Callum Ilott and Tom Blomqvist while David Malukas starts his final race with Dale Coyne from 22nd just ahead of Benjamin Pedersen and Sting Ray Robb.

Ryan Hunter-Reay, Dvelin DeFrancesco and Helio Castroneves start from the back.
