Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi who drives the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda in the NTT IndyCar Series says he is delighted to have one of his best friends James Hinchcliffe as a team mate for the 2020 season.

It was announced last month that the Mayor of HinchTown has joined Andretti Autosport for the Month of May and the Genesys 600 at Texas Motor Speedway in June.

Speaking to Paddock Eye on Monday during a media teleconference ahead of the opening race of the season this weekend, the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg, Rossi said that it will nice to have an extra pair of experienced eyes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May as Hinch took pole for the Indy 500 in 2016.

Rossi also said that it was nice to add another new partnership to Andretti Autosport and indeed the NTT IndyCar Series as Genesys has not been involved in IndyCar before.
